Eating to Build Lean Muscle: Knowing Exactly What to Eat

Most people think that if they hit the gym and lift crazy numbers, it will help to build lean muscle or bulk up as some like to call it.

But I have seen it with my own eyes; you can go to the gym morning, noon and night; lift hundreds of pounds on a daily basis and still not have the muscle you’re looking to build.

It took me years to realize it, but there is a science to building muscle. It’s a combination of how you exercise and what you eat. Listed below are a few of some of the essential foods used when trying to build muscle:

  • Eggs are an excellent source of protein because they have just about every vitamin you could think of (except vitamin C). Eggs also contain just the right amount of fat needed to assist in building lean muscle.

  • Brown Rice provides the energy need to undergo workouts. It also encourages strength gains and muscle growth.

  • Red Meat is important in building muscle because of the amount of protein it contains. It is also extremely rich in vitamins B and B12. The CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid) in red meat provides the boost needed to get rid of body fat and build lean muscle.

  • Rebuild Strength is everything you need in just two scoops. It contains 24 g of whey and casein proteins which helps to create rapid and sustained protein-building. This product is used to rebuild muscle, speed recovery, muscle repair and more importantly it supports muscle growth.

  • Organic Milk contains both omega-3 fatty acids as well whey; which is considered a complete protein. Organic milk also improves natural hormones in the body which in turn promotes the burning of fat.

  • Spinach contains nitrates that are essential for muscle growth and muscle strength.

  • Greek Yogurt with protein which is very effective for adding on muscle when you work out. Yogurt can also aid in muscle recovery.

  • Oranges are a quick and easy, fast digesting carb that can be consumed prior workouts. Oranges provide potassium which promotes muscle function and muscle growth. Potassium is also essential in keeping the acid in your body well balanced.

The items mentioned above will all be helpful in your journey to building muscle mass. For a customized workout plan or to go along with your eating tips, click the contact link and inquire!
